How does booking Golden Hour Bar Co. work?We are here to make your event day stress free by providing beverage service to your guests. First, browse our Service Packages to get a feel for which beverages you want at your event. Once you have a general idea of what you are interested in, book your free consultation so our team can discuss details and answer any questions you may have. We will write up your proposal and contract, and will require a 30% deposit upon acceptance of the contract. We will contact you 14 days prior to your event to discuss final headcount, last minute details, and to complete your payment.

Am I guaranteed my desired event date?Our bookings are fulfilled on a first come, first served basis. When the deposit has been paid, your event date will be secured.

Does Golden Bar Co. provide the alcohol?No. We do not have a liquor license and therefore do not provide alcohol. We are a dry hire mobile bartending service and state laws prevent us from being able to provide the alcohol for your event. We will work with you to create a beverage menu and consult you on exactly what and how much to purchase.

How will I know how much liquor to purchase?Don't worry, we have your back! We will work with you to create a beverage menu and will provide guidance on how much and what kind of alcohol will be needed. You will purchase the alcohol and we will serve the drinks. Together during the consultation, we will create an estimate per guest per hour, but tailor recommendations based on your event’s duration and menu. Also to note, many alcohol distributors allow unopened items to be returned, so you can also purchase more than necessary without having to worry about losing money. Are your service packages my only beverage options?Our Service Packages are a baseline of what beverages you can expect during your event. We encourage you to book your free consultation to discuss our package options or to work with you to create a customized beverage service.

Do you reduce the price for guests that do not drink alcohol?No. We are a dry bar, meaning we do not provide alcohol. We bring all the cups, ice, straws, and non-alcoholic beverages, which will be consumed by your guests who do not drink alcohol. They will also be wanting service from one of our bartenders. Therefore, we need to know exactly how many guests total will be attending your event, so we know how much supplies to bring and how many bartenders to staff. Please make sure to mention how many guests do not drink as we will need to take that into consideration when we create your Alcohol Purchasing Guide.

How far in advance should I book?We strongly suggest planning and reserving your event date at least 60 days prior to your desired event date. Keep in mind, our bookings are fulfilled on a first come, first served basis. When the deposit has been paid, your event date will be secured.

Are you insured?Yes, we carry general and liquor liability insurance.

What happens if a guest is inebriated?Our team is trained to handle the situation with great care and professionalism. We stop serving anyone who is visibly inebriated and will alert the event organizer.

Do you check IDs?Guest safety and satisfaction are our priority. It is illegal to serve alcohol to minors, therefore we will check IDs for any guests that appear to be under the age of 35. Please be sure to ask your guests to bring ID.
